Joel Cleveland is an originator artist, graphic designer and all around creative thinker. He hails from Birmingham, Alabama where he began his formal training starting at the Alabama School of Fine Arts then continuing on to attend the Atlanta College of Art in the 1980’s graduating with a BFA.
He spent years in Atlanta and New York City working as a creative director, associate creative director and graphic designer (for many ad agencies) and independently as a fine artist.
Now, he is back home in Birmingham focusing on an array of creative disciplines including creating (for purchase) new original abstract fantasy paintings & techniques in a professional capacity mostly solo, but some in collaboration with the objective of producing movement, colors, layers, shapes, line and texture that are satisfying to the imagination.
